Floor TIme
This past weekend our good friends Jeff and Karen came into town from Toronto with their kids. We have been hanging out with them a lot. It's been a lot of fun. I miss their family tons and can't wait for them to move home.
My Grandpa came into town from Edmonton this past weekend too, so I've been visiting with family as well. I also miss my relatives a lot. My uncle and aunt just returned from serving a mission in Russia. Wow... what an amazing experience that must have been. I'm so proud of them for the sacrifice they made to serve the Lord. It has been 3 years since I had saw them last.
These images were from a few weeks ago. Since I've been doing a lot of shooting, I've recently rediscovered an old lens that I have. Hello... what's wrong with me? I LOVE this lens! Good to be friends again.
Tonight we are going to the Dave Matthews concert with friends and siblings. It should be a lot of fun.

Gifts of the Heart
We have been more then blessed with the birth of our son. Still to this day, we are receiving wonderful and thoughtful gifts. It is so overwhelming how loved we feel by all the wonderful people in our lives. We are deeply touched and are full of gratitude. So thank you ALL so much! =D
One of my old roommates called me a few weeks ago and said she and her husband were coming into town and she wanted to bring me my baby shower gift. I was so excited to see her. Jaime and I use to laugh and laugh together as roommates. So much fun! So when she dropped by and gave me this that she had made...
I was so touched. Homemade gifts really touch me for some reason. (We have received lots of homemade blankets as well-which I LOVE BTW!) I had just never seen this done before. I think this hooded towel is adorable! This will be something Lincs will LOVE when he's a little older. He LOVES bath time, eating bubbles and splashing around.
Jory had never saw the movie Cars till Lincs was born and it's now his favourite kids movie. Thanks James!!! We SOOO LOVE IT and you!

More on the Bumbo
A few weeks ago I was getting ready for a baby shower I was helping out with and I put Lincoln in his Bumbo to try and keep him entertained for a few minutes so that I could get some stuff done. So I set him in there and put some toys on his tray. This first pic is of him, he doesn't know quite whats going on or what to think-pretty cute.
This next one is EVEN funnier to me!
I have a feeling I'll be seeing this sly smile a lot as he gets older. Super cute though!

4 Month Wellness
Today was Lincoln's 4 Month Wellness Check up. He is doing really well. Both the nurse and his Dr said Lincs is a big kid. I get that a lot. Crazy, I think he looks normal. There must be just a lot of small babies around. Who knows. Here's what he's weighing in at...
Weight 14.9 lbs
Length 25 inches
Head 44cm
Dr.Clayton is very impressed with Lincoln's social skills. Defiantly comes from the Bennett side of the family. While we were waiting for Dr. Clayton to come in, Lincoln was looking around the room. They have murals all over the place-which I totally appreciate by the way-it kept him entertained for a while. He saw a mural of Goofy and it cracked him RIGHT UP! Seriously, he started giggling. Hilarious.
Of course we did the immunizations as well. I'm a big advocate for them. I know this can be a touchy subject for some and causes uproar, but I do stand firm in this choice. Lincs screamed after his shots. This of course broke my heart but I know it's for the best. I think he likes to nurse for comfort because as soon as I picked him up, he went right for the kill!
He fell asleep on the way home. I opened the back door to bring him in the house and he was snuggling with his rubber duckie. So (SO) cute-but poor kid!
LOVE this shot of my boy. He is ALL boy in this image. And yes, I know-he looks just like Jory.

Red Fish Lake Part 1
Jory has been waiting for this post since the day we got home over 3 weeks ago. We went to Red Fish Lake for his family's vacation and I took a lot of pictures (shocking right) so there was a lot to go through and I just finally gave up and decided to make this a few posts.
Oh and of course these are mainly Lincs, but hello... He's too stinkin cute!
Two cute cousins with their Grandpa Base. These two are about 3.5 months apart. Love this pic-so cute!
Red Fish Lake-the best part of this place.
I ADORE this girl! LOVE her!!! She is a great friend, sister and mother. How cute is her little Graycee?
Ummm-how cute are those little shoes?!
Uncle Josh and Graycee-so cute.
I have a thing for boats. I love this image. Probably my favorite of the trip.
Camping with a young baby-NOT FUN I'm not going to lie and pretend it's ok. Oh and when the bear showed up the last night in Josh's truck, I was SO ready to come home.
