The Wards

I took this pic of Jory and his siblings over the summer. I never posted this before because of being so busy and prego sick. However, I LOVE this shot of them. We gave a sepia version to his parents for Christmas and it is gorgeous!

The Spirit of Christmas Past...

What do you do when you get the winter blues this close to Christmas and you need a major good laugh?? Easy... you go through pictures of Christmases' from the past! Well, it worked for me anyways!

My older brother Mike and I were CLEARLY very little. I'm sure I wasn't even two years old yet in these pics.

I have no clue how old we were here either, but we went to aunt Deanna and uncle Les's house for Christmas that year. Mike's face is what cracks me right up in this pic! Reminds me of Homer Simpson for some reason! So much fun...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my little Snuffy!! How BEAUTIFUL is she??? This had to have been Christmas of '89. Wow... 20 years ago!

Miracles

I have always been a believer in miracles. I just never thought they'd happen to me like the do with everyone else. When Jory and I were engaged and talking about when we'd have kids, he thought why prevent? I'm 26, she's 24-if it happens right away, great if not, oh well. I of course had NO objections to this at all. =) Well, the babies never came and I became pretty devastated. To help ease my mind I thought I'd go back to school to keep myself busy. Let me tell you, IT WORKED! This summer, I finished my Associates Degree!!! At first, the plan was to stop there but then listening to Pres Monson speak so firmly about woman getting their education, I felt a strong prompting to not give up and that I needed to keep going. Last Spring semester I decided that I wanted to teach what I love so much at a college level. I really wanted to go for a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Photography. After that, Grad School of course.

However, I have found that when I make plans for my life, God decides to play funny tricks on me and just turns my world right up side down. No joke... During my Summer Semester, I was taking an Ethics and Values class when I found out that God was giving us one of the biggest miracles of all. It came out of no where and shocked us both SOO much we STILL are having such a hard time believing it's true.

We are FINALLY having a baby! The timing of everything has just been so interesting and a lot of things have fallen into (or out of) place. I am 17 weeks along (and yes, still sick for those wondering)and we are due the beginning of April and it feels like Eternity!
We will find out NEXT WEEK!!!! what we are having.

ESP FOR MY DEAR FRIEND LAURA...

She has been anxious to see a belly shot. I'm DEFINITELY showing eh?! ;)

Our families of course are both VERY excited about the news. I BEGGED my Geena and Camilla to get pregnant right away so we could have babies together but that was a no go. lol... So that is our big news! Please don't feel bad if you are just finding out. I haven't told many people at all. Although, Jor's been announcing it to the world.

A night with the Di Lello's

We went out with Mike and Krista a few nights (I think...) before Mike left for boot camp. He is going to be gone a total of 7 long months. They have the CUTEST little boya ever!!!I love spending time with Krista. She really is one of my greatest friends. Lately, she has just really been there for me. Here are some of the pics from our fun night at the Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days. Oh how I LOVE Strawberry Days!!!

Summer Fun with the Kidlets!

For Kobe's bday this year (instead of getting him more toys) we took him to the American Fork Carnival. These are so much fun to go to in the summer. We were just going to take Kobe, but he really wanted Bugs to come too. How sweet is he? Kobe had fun on the rides and getting a few prizes. We took the kids to Wendy's for dinner after. Bugs was SOO excited about food-she LOVES to eat. That night Kobs came back to our house where he helped Jory set up the tent in the back yard and the 3 of us slept out there watching Harry Potter. I LOVE spending time with my little kids!

I love you both!!!

Toronto!

Back in May, the morning after my last final, Jor and I headed up to the airport to go see our dear friends the Petersons up in Toronto. I was so excited to be heading back to Canada! We only went for a long weekend, but we had SO much fun! I know we went up months ago, but I've just been so dang busy with work school, and photography. While looking through the pics the other day, I felt sad that we don't get to see them more often. Looking at the fun times we had up there made me want to go back up again soon. We miss you guys a lot!

There are A LOT of pics, but really, I couldn't leave ONE single one out. They all mean so much to me.

We flew into Buffalo and hung out till traffic died down a little. We stopped in Old Niagara. WOW... I am in love with this place. It is GORGEOUS and has so much character.
