Today Lincs is 7 months old. I'm so sad that he is growing up so fast. He is ready to crawl any day now. His curiosity has me worried that my house will be torn apart and I will get less done then I do now. Sleep doesn't come easy for me right now due to stress, so I'm sure there will be less in a few weeks. As long as mom and dad are around, he is one happy little boy.
These pics of me and my sweet little boy were taken up at Sundance. They make me happy. He makes me so happy.
I am going to make a collage wall and this image makes the cut. Oh how I ADORE this one of me and my Lincs!
Last week we went up to Sundance just to hang out and look around. As always, it was gorgeous up there. Lincoln loves being outside. It was really peaceful being there and the fall colours are to die for. We even saw Diane Keaton and she thought my baby was SO cute. Ummm... hello!! That totally made my day.
This next one was just too funny to not keep.
I have been so busy lately. I have been more then blessed with lots of photography jobs. I just can't even believe it. I told Jory that once October was over, I only had one Bridal in November and things would be slowing down. I just got home from two back to back shoots and have about six more already booked for this month. INSANE! And very exciting. Keep checking my photo blog for updated images!
That one year ago today, our baby would go from looking and being this TINY like this...
to this chubby, cute little boy who is the pure JOY of our lives.
When I was pregnant, I always felt peace that everything would be ok and that he would be a healthy little boy. That was the most amazing feeling. I ALWAYS would day dream about what he would look like and worry that he wouldn't be cute. Sorry, I'm one of those people who doesn't think all babies are cute! Lincoln turned out MORE BEAUTIFUL then I could have EVER hoped for. It was one year ago today that we found out that we were having a little boy who would change our lives for the better. Life is not complete with out our little Stink Bugs!
Whenever people look at Lincoln, I ALWAYS hear how much he looks like his Dad. ALL THE TIME. In fact, today one of our friends said that Lincoln didn't any of Sherry's gene pool. My favorite was when my sister told me I should have named him "George Jr." Yeap, we get it all the time. After looking at some baby pics of us to determine how accurate everyone was, I thought I'd re create one of Jory's baby pics with Lincoln.
We are pretty sure that Jory is younger then what Lincoln is when we took this, but we're not sure on the exact age.
Jory 1978
Lincoln 2010
No questions, Lincoln has his Dad's eyes. However, I do believe Lincoln looks more well fed then Jory. ROFL... Lincoln is sooooo CHUBBY! I LOVE chubby babys! Other then the eyes, I think Lincoln is his own person. They both have very distinct eyes so I think that is a huge part of why everyone says what they do.
Halloween was a very busy day for us. I shot a family portrait in the morning, then raced home, got ready to go to the next shoot up Big Cottonwood Canyon and put everything together for our party at our friends house, then we headed out the door. I had never been up Big Cottonwood Canyon before and it was GORGEOUS. I did my shoot up there and we had to cut it short cuz a storm moved in. Lighting got dark fast. I was pretty bummed cuz I wanted to keep going! Oh well... We headed back down from SLC and went to Tyler and Robynn's for dinner. My goodness, it was DELICIOUS! Robynn made Cafe Rio. Wow, I was so full from eating too much.
We got the kids ready and all 7 of us headed out the door to go Trick or Treating. Thank goodness Lincoln's costume had a lot of padding on it. It was pretty cold outside. He seemed to enjoy himself. He loves being outside and just looking around. Jory took him to each door to go Trick or Treating. We only went out for a little bit then Robynn and I headed back with the two babies while Jory, Tyler and Hayden headed to more houses. When we got back, we dumped the bags to check out what they got. Lincoln immediately dug in. HA HA HA!!!
If he loves soda as much as his dad, we are in SO much trouble. Better get good Dental insurance now eh?!
