Cute Bum

Stink Bugs LOVES bath time. Jory likes to soak in the tub at night after a long days work. If Lincs knows about it, he will book it to the bathroom to join in. He'll stand up holding onto the tub and lift his little legs to try and climb in. Oh how he LOVES to be in the bath tub. I truly hope it stays that way too!



Tomorrow we are going over to the studio to try and take Lincs 9 month pics. He's too mobile for anything in the house and it's just too cold outside. I would be shocked if we get anything at all to be honest. At least we can try right? =D

9 Month Stats

Lincoln has his 9 month check up this morning. His stats have changed quite a bit!

Weight 18.8 lbs
Height 27.5 inch's
Head 45cm

His height is in the 20% and weight in the 25%. His head is still large as he is in the 55%. When he was only a few months only he was in the 75% in weight and height. Crazy. I guess now that he's crawling like crazy, he's burning a few calories. Lincs has quite a little personality. If you try and give him something he doesn't want, he'll smack it out of your hand or try to throw it. Tonight while he was in his high chair, Jory was trying to give him a sippy cup. Instead of just ignoring it, he made sure it landed on the floor. He will make sure it is out of his sight.

Lincoln is a fast little crawler. This morning he had been sitting in my lap at the dr's office for what was too long for him. I figured I would let him down for just a few seconds. As soon as I put him down he was speed crawling out the door just giggling away like it was no body's business. I couldn't help but giggle too.



Still no teeth yet. Still refusing to eat baby food. He did eat potatoes tonight though. Last night we put him in his crib and tried to let him cry things out and go to sleep on his own. He cried/screamed till 2am. Jory brought him in bed with us and of course he goes right to sleep. I figured FOR SURE he'd sleep in this morning. Oh noooo... 7:30am he was wide eyed and bushy tailed. Mommy is not doing to well however.

Sneak Peak

Now that Lincoln can crawl and pull himself up, he is into EVERYTHING! Christmas was fun chasing him around getting him out of everything. Man, he is soooo CURIOUS! I swear the kid has no fear. I haven't really gone through our Christmas pics that much as I've kept busy with him and lots of photography (usually it's slow this month, but it's not slowing down for me). So here is a small post for the grandma's from what our Christmas looked like. I promise I will post more soon! I have soooo many cute ones coming!!!

Abstract Christmas

I have issues sleeping sometimes. There are times that I can't seem to sleep enough and there are times that I can't sleep at all. It's the most frustrating thing EVER! December was a pretty rough month for us (more on that later-much later). So I hardly slept the whole month. When I stress too much, I can't eat and I get HORRID cold sores on my lips and ears. So super painful.

One of these many, sad nights, I decided to play around with the camera. We had just set up the Christmas Trees and I was deep in thought about a lot of things in my life. It was about 2am and I was just wondering the house with the camera. I always want to try out new things and this little mini session accomplished just that.















So that pretty much sums up what our Christmas tree looked like! You like? ;)

Grandma B's gift!

This year we went up to my parent's house for Thanksgiving. We were doing some last minute shopping and my mom told me that her and my Dad had been talking and they really wanted to get up a pack and play for Lincoln. They felt it would be useful for when we came up to visit them and when we went to Jory's parents house for the weekend so he would have his own place to sleep. My parents are quite generous people and I am so grateful they did this for us. Lincoln LOVED it! He thought it was so much fun!




And of course what baby doesn't love to be nakey?? Lincs LOVES it...

Cute Cousins!!

We were up in Logan having lunch with Josh & Dayle's family and these two cute cousins were sitting next to each other. Dayle was so sweet to email me this image of them together. I LOVE it! Aren't they so dang cute?? They are about 4 months apart. I always wonder if they'll be close growing up at all. I sure hope so.
