One Special Day

Photobucket

Today was a special day not only for me but for my Kobsters. While it was his 7th Birthday (**sob, sob** he's growing much too fast!) I finished my Associates Degree! What a relief! I thought I would NEVER make it, but today I did. It has been very rewarding, but hard all at the same time. Ahem... a certain Hitler teacher shall remain nameless. To all those that were so supportive, encouraging and who believed in me when I couldn't-THANK YOU! I am so grateful for the wonderful people in my life that have helped me get through. I start another semester tomorrow and will be applying for the BFA program this spring. My ultimate dream is to go to grad school and get a MFA and teach college one day.

Little Man... Happy Birthday! I love and adore you so much. You are going to grow up to be someone so amazing-I just know it. You, me, Kangaroo Zoo and some steaks SOON!

Congrats Sher... way to go!! That is awesome you have discovered what you would like to do. I always thought teaching college would be fun also. Keep up the hard work, I know you can make it with whatever your choose to do. I can't believe your nephew is seven... he seemed so small when I used to go visit with you. I hope he had a good birthday.

Congratulations my friend! You are amazing and can accomplish anything you set out to do. I think you would make an excellent teacher! And just think, your experiences with "Hitler" will remind you to be that much more compassionate toward your students. (And you'll have some interesting stories to tell!) :) Love you!
