Little Fishing Friends

Last night we went down to the pond with Cort and his boys to go fishing. Lincoln was EXCITED on so many levels-to fish, to see Cort and to be with all the boys! Lincoln loves Henry and sat down next to him while he was fishing. Pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen! He was pretty sad when it was time to go!

Conference & Marriage.

It seems every conference we are hanging out with Jor's family so I wasn't able to watch conference this April. :( It seriously makes me so sad! I LOVE conference. Now that wedding season is in full swing, I am up many late nights editing so I've been listening to it while I edit. It's seriously not the same at all! Anyways, the other night I was able to read an AMAZING talk on my phone (LOVE having the Gospel Library on my phone-so beyond worth it!). It was by James E. Faust on marriage. It was really good! I'll have to share it on here sometime but it basically talked about how important marriage is and how we need to be putting our spouse above anyone or anything. It gave a lot of good pointers on how we can do that. If you haven't read/watched it, you totally need to!

My Belly: 26 Weeks

Over the weekend, I shot one of my good friend Kate Johnson's family photos. Kate is a good photog herself and a GREAT friend! I totally adore her! Anyways, when we were done, she ordered me into the field and told me she was going to take some prego pics of me! LOL!!! Sure wish I would have done something with my hair. Oh well... She sent me this sneak peak and I thought it was super pretty. Thanks Katie! 14 weeks to go and TOO much to do!! Who wants to come help me paint?

Provo LDS Temple

Yesterday evening, I told Jory that we were taking Lincoln to the Temple. I want him to learn more about the Gospel and feel like I am not doing as good as a job as I should in this department. I feel sooooo exhausted all the time lately. I am pretty sure he has never been to the Provo Temple and Lincoln LOVES water. Since they have some amazing fountains, I thought this would be the perfect one to take him to. He LOVED it! Of course I took like 504 images. I haven't sorted through the ones of him yet because there are just too many, but here are some images I took of just the temple that I loved. I use to make fun of how ugly this temple is, but it's been growing on me lately...

Courage Reins Part 1

For the past few months, Lincoln has been in a Horse back riding class with Kids on the Move. He did NOT like it at first. My poor boy is scared of new things and change (unless it's new toys of course). It takes him a while to warm up to new things and people. I defiantly would love to break him of this. He really wanted Dad or I to be there with him on the horses, but there's a reason why we weren't a allowed to do that. Lincoln has struggled with separation anxiety (mainly with me) since the day he was born. It didn't take Gary long to pick up on this either.  This class helps them with this-among other things. But we have noticed such a great progression with him as we were consistent in having him do this-kinda like brushing his teeth! LOL!!! Anyways, I brought my camera a few times and took some pics. This session was a bad day for him and he was NOT happy to be there. By the time the class ended for him, he loved to go.

One of his therapists name is Gary and Lincoln LOVES Gary! He has been AMAZING to work with. He came to our house about 2 times a month to work on different things. There were days that it was REALLY hard, but Gary is consistent and on top of things. This is one thing he taught me that is so important. How can you expect good results and behavior with your kid if you aren't consistent and on top of their issues? I really learned a lot from him and how to be a better mother for my child. We had two main therapists we worked with and both of them were so kind and compassionate. Words can not express my gratitude for Kids on the Move. I SERIOUSLY recommend them to ANYONE.

Change

I LOVE change. I crave change. Growing up, we moved a lot. It was super annoying. However, I learned a lot (like NEVER live in Edmonton and UT County just isn't where my heart is) I have met so many amazing people around Canada and the US. It also helped me to adapt to change a little easier. I married Jory in 2004 and have lived in the same dang house since. Quite frankly, I am going CRAZY! It has nothing to do with being ungrateful for what I have, because the house is fine-I am just ready to move on and I am craving change. That and we're having another kid and this place is just too small for me. Tonight I shot an AMAZING Engagement Session on the other side of UT lake in Saratoga Springs. Pretty much fell in love with this area. WOW... so beautiful! I texted Jory a picture of this and told him I wanted to move here. No response... DANG IT!! I will keep trying!

2 Cute Cousins!

Not only do I LOVE being a mother, but I also LOVE being an aunt! I have the CUTEST Nephews EVER!! A few weeks ago, I got to watch Parker for a few days. Lincoln and I had SO MUCH FUN when he came over! For the most part, they got along great! Parker has quite the little personality and he LOVES to EAT! My brother is going to have to get a second job just to keep up with the grocery bill with this boy! lol!!! Anyways, the cousins were so cute together I couldn't help but get my camera out and take some pics of them together! Oh how I adore these pics of them!

My Little Love

Today we had a birthday party for Lincoln. His real birthday isn't till tomorrow, but we celebrated it today with family and a few close friends. Love this little boy so so much! He was in heaven with balloons, pizza and a few new toys. Life is pretty good for this kid right now! I will post more pics of his party when I get them back from a friend! Loved these shots of him from a morning snuggle session tough! =D So happy he is mine.
