A Bishop's Business Card

Today has been a hard day for me. I don't even know why. Do you ever have those days where you just wake up in a bad mood? I'm having one of those days today. I hate my Jetta, I hate my Art History class, and I'm dreading the emotions that my personal autobiography I have to write for English is going to bring out. ALSO...I'm still very upset that Denny from Grey's Anatomy died, as did Sara on Prison Break! Call me crazy, call me a freak, I don't care-it's how I FEEL! All I want to do is stay home and enjoy the coziness of our home. Oh-and stay in my flannel P.J.'s instead of dress up girly clothes I have to wear for work! Anyways, so despite my bad day, I figured that I would post something I thought was funny so that I could lift my own spirits!

A Bishop was visiting in the home of two Ward members, a newlywed couple. At the garden apartment where they lived it was obvious from the giggling inside that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks, he even called out to let them know it was he at the door. Everything had gone silent. Then he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

The following Sunday his card was placed in one of the tithing envelopes and given to one of his councilors who in turn returned it to the Bishop. Added to the card was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10."

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter.

Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."

Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."
