Buds!

Lately Lincoln LOVES to play with friends! Last week one of my photog friends asked if we could help her take pics of her two little kids. She has a newborn and a boy Lincs age, so she needed help setting up and making the kids smile. I think Lincoln was more of a distraction more then anything. Lol... But, these two had A LOT of fun together! I will post more later.

Lincoln The Hockey Player!

I didn't have a clue on earth what Lincoln was going to be for Halloween until just a few days ago. Seriously! The truth is, I just don't care about Halloween. I mean, it's fun and all but I don't go crazy like a lot of people around here. I didn't put up a single Halloween decoration, we really didn't do more then one fun Halloween activity until the day before and we made no plans for the big day until we were literally in the moment! LOL... Lincoln is 2.5 though, so I am not worried about it.

 Last night when I walked into my sister in law's house, I did feel like a very un fun mom! She is so cute and creative! I'll work on it! Next year. Anyways, I was wracking my brain as to what Lincs could be and as I was going through some baby clothes for my cousin, I found a little Canadian Hockey jersey in the closet. Hmmm... THEN, I remembered the little felt hockey hat that also was sent by my girlfriend with the jersey. Perfect, Lincs has a costume! Did not have to buy a thing for it!

 Lincoln has actually been sick this week (again) so we weren't sure if we were even going to make it out last night. I figured we could just go to a few houses since it WAS Halloween and it was SUPER warm last night. But once we were outside, he was so happy. We went to a few houses in our area and then on a whim decided to head over to my brother's neighborhood and hang out with the cousins. We seriously had a lot of fun with them! Lincoln didn't care about the candy at all. He thought we were going to people's houses to play. It was a mean cruel trick for him. He did end up loving the fact that his pumpkin was full of suckers and M&M's!

Lately.

We haven't been doing much of anything. Unfortunately, we live pretty boring lives. Last week the boys got the stomach flu pretty bad. It lasted 3-4 days. It was brutal. We didn't sleep at all 2 nights in a row. It seriously was so sad for Lincs. He CRIED all night and all day. Glad that's over. We got our family pics back yesterday and we got some pretty cute stuff. I am not going to post them yet as we are going to work on Christmas cards soon, but since I haven't posted in A LONG time, I figured I'd post this SUPER cute one of Lincoln! Oh how I LOVE my little boy!

I saw this quote on Pinterest and fell in love with it. I put it with one of my favorite pics of me and cute boy. I can't believe how much I love my little man. He truly is MY.WHOLE.WORLD! I feel blessed each day that he is mine. What did I do to deserve this amazing boy?

Family Pics-Sneak Peak

Last night we did our family pics. We were super excited but very nervous because Lincoln is just at that age you know? He did A LOT better then we thought! My friend Brooke took them for us and was super kind enough to send us a little preview of them. So here is one for now!

Fall

I LOVE fall! I love all elements of this beautiful season! Saturday, we went for a drive up the canyons and it was insanely beautiful! The leaves up there are already turning. We were so shocked that they colors were so vibrant and amazing. I have been booking like crazy for family portraits and I am SO EXCITED to see what this season brings!

New York: Ground Zero

Ground Zero was nothing short of amazing. There was such a great feeling of reverence and respect here. I truly was touched by every element of art and emotion. And let me tell you, this was an emotional place for me. Not that I knew anyone that died or survived this horrific tragedy here, but knowing how many lives were lost and those that fought to save lives who were also lost. It really brought tears to my eyes. I love how the artist designed everything for this memorial. It is beautiful and almost morbid at the same time. Ground Zero is a must see in New York. It will seriously change your life on so many levels!
