Lincoln Turns 2!!

Ok, so his bday was 4 months ago and I totally suck at keeping this blog updated. I LOVE throwing parties. I think it's seriously a lot of fun. I know some people think this is too much work and a waste, but I don't care cuz I LOVE stuff like this! It was a lot of fun researching, planning and putting it all together. I found ALL my ideas on Pinterest I love that place and I am OBSESSED! It's always fun to have family and closest friends get together for good foods and to celebrate our favorite little peoples birthdays! Lincoln's Birthday was a lot of fun this year. Jory's mom and sister came down this year again and we LOVED having them. It seriously is so much fun when they come! Pretty much all my family came as well. I can't believe my baby is growing up so dang fast. Everyday I tell him how sad that he has just grown up in a blink of an eye. It is fun to see him learn and try new things. However, I sure miss his baby stage!

So I found this banner on Pinterest and it was a FREE download. I got a whole party kit free! I was so excited and it was just what I was looking for!

And OH MY GOODNESS!!! LOOK at this cake! Fun right?! My friend Alisha made it for him and she does and AMAZING job. This cake was DELISH as well! Anyone looking for a cake, let me know and I can send you her info! And YES, I DID tear labels off water bottles and put these cute labels on. It was fun and they are stinkin cute!

Ahhhh... Chicken salad croissants. This is comfort food for me! Oh how I LOVE these!

Yeap, I made cake pops too! They were EASY and so DANG GOOD!! I found the center piece on Pinterest too. I was a little short on M&M's and since Easter was the next day, I broke into that stash. Close enough right?! ;)

Aunt Steph gave him this Buzz Lightyear phone toy thing that he LOVED!!! He wanted NOTHING to do with his other presents cuz this was his primary focus!

We got him these cute PJ's. He was NOT impressed!! Look at that facial expression! Hysterical.

Grammy Tammy got him these CUTE shirts!! Clearly I was more excited them he was, he was right back at the Buzz toy seconds later! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

And of course I couldn't open the dang thing fast enough for him! He was friggin EXCITED!!!  Good job Steph!

His Bennett Cousins got him these Disney Cars toys where the head lights lit up. Oh my goodness... he LOVED them! The lights burned out pretty fast cuz he wouldn't turn them off, and he was BUMMED OUT when they were gone!

Lincs had a GREAT 2nd bday!! He may never remember this party and all the work I did for him, but I will always remember how fun it was. He will also have these pics of how much fun it was and WHO ever regrets their mom putting effort into their bday party to make them feel special right? Stuff like this is a big deal to me. I think I am the only one in my family who makes this big of a deal (besides my sister in law)  but seriously, so worth it! LOVE THIS BOY!!! So excited to plan next year's party!!
