My Little Man...

We just got in from a super busy weekend! Friday I shot a wedding at the Manti Temple and it was BEAUTIFUL! EARLY Saturday morning, we loaded up and headed to the Bountiful Temple. I shot there and then since the reception was clear out in Wyoming, we headed up that way. We stopped in Park City for a little bit to do some shopping. We pulled into Green River about an hour before I was suppose to shoot the wedding. Anyone that knows me knows that I don't care for Idaho that much, but this place... yikes!! I will take Idaho ANYDAY over Wyoming! We checked into our nice hotel-the best part of the trip out there and then headed to my wedding. When I was done, we just hung out in our sweet hotel room and watched TV. Today on our way home, Jory wanted to take the scenic route home. HOLY CRAP... it took FOREVER!!!

We stopped in Vernal to eat and just let Lincs run for a bit. We took him over to the Vernal temple too. I had never been there and wanted to see it. We FINALLY rolled into Heber this evening and stopped to see our good friends. They invited us to swim and eat with them. It seriously was so good to see them and their kids. Lincs had a BLAST swimming! Anyways... we are home now and my stomach is super upset. I TRULY need to see a dr about this. It happens way too much! Hopefully I didn't bring some bug home with us though. Bleh... So I thought since I can't sleep feeling this bad, I would do a small update. Speaking of updates... Lincs has made HUGE leaps and bounds with eating!! We can't even begin to express our gratitude about this!

 A week ago, we went to Almo, ID and hung out. Actually, I had a few photo shoots, but we still had fun. Here are a few pics (out of like 400 that I took). I LOVE his little face!! My little pride and joy!

The Bennett Baby Boy Cousins

Within 19 months, our family welcome 3 very cute little boys into our family. Lincoln, Parker and Dash. As these 3 have been growing like crazy, there is one thing we've noticed in common among them-they are all full of MISCHIEF...

Yeah, things aren't looking too good for us over here! LOL!!!!!

Freedom

I chose the title of this blog because today is the day we celebrate the birthday of the USA as well as our freedom. However, it almost seems like little by little our freedom is being taken away. We started our 4th out by waking up at 5:30am and heading down to Provo. I signed up with a friend of mine to run the Freedom Run 2012 5k. When I woke up that early ready to throw up, I totally regretted making this choice, but I didn't want to let me friend down. Jory & Lincs came down to support and cheer me on. I am so glad they were there! I think there was at least 600 people that showed up to run this race. IT WAS AMAZING!! There were soooo many other there cheering us on, so it totally made me push myself a lot more then I did. I was able to finish the 5k in 36mins. So basically, I was running each mile at about 11 minutes each. I've wanted to do a race for a long time, so I am so glad I had the opportunity to do this one. It was extremely rewarding for me.

Afterwards, Jory REALLY wanted to go to McDonalds. Shocker... I got a egg McMuffin and this will be the LAST time I EVER eat eggs. I am certain I am deathly allergic to them. My stomach hurt for HOURS afterwards. SO.BAD!! We all had a nap when we got home and have just been hanging out all day. It's been nice to just hang out you know? Who knows if we'll do anything fun tonight, but it's nice just to not have anything to do.

Sneak Peak

We have a lot of stuff going on around here! I don't have time for a complete update, but if there is anyone out there that even reads this blog anymore and would like to know, call me! ;) I have this friend who is an amazing photographer. We met at the January Bridal show and we just hit it off and became good friends. I told her I wanted her to take some pics of me and Lincs together. I LOVE mother/son photos. They are a current obsession! So Monday night we ventured out and let me tell you... Lincs was out of his mind CRAZY!! He whined, fussed, bawled and tantrumed the WHOLE TIME. I was seriously so butt hurt. Brooke sent me a teaser that night and I felt a little better. Not what I was envisioning in my head, but TOTALLY depicts my life these days with him...

Exhausted!

Today has just been BUSY! Not that any other day isn't around here, but it's been a day! We woke up early to a client wanting to book family pics and then a friend of mine invited Lincs and I to go walking-totally needed that. Then we came home and got ready to go to the Orthodontist. We came home from that and I tried to put Lincoln down for a nap and he just wasn't having it! I started working on orders for brides, returning emails, working on invite designs for a a bride. Emailing invoices and receipts to another bride was totally starting to stress me out. One of my girlfriends sent me a message asking me what i was doing. When I told her, she told me to forget about it, pack Lincoln up and come meet her for lunch, her treat! And so off we went again. It was soooo nice to get out and have DELISH food and talk with a friend that I have a lot in common with. She too is an amazing photographer, so we get along real well. While we were at lunch, Lincoln started acting CRAZY-like out of his mind crazy. It was sooo frustrating! I wanted to stay all day and chat, but because I had him and needed to get home to prepare for a double wedding weekend and another session in the mixed-maybe two... I knew I needed to get him home. Not to mention, this boy needed a NAP!! As we pulled into the driveway, I turned around and saw him like this...

TRULY... I couldn't be more grateful for this!! I am behind on editing 5 weddings and about 7 other sessions! Luckily he is still sleeping and I have been able to get lots done. Maybe he'll sleep the day away. Hey, a girl can dream can't she?! ;)

HILARIOUS!

I have been editing like CRAZY lately. I took a few minutes from clients portraits to work on my own personal stuff. As I was going through the pics I took of Lincs at 2 years, I saw this image and DIED laughing!! LOL... I just can't get over it!
